Enjoy a half day away from the hustle and bustle of Lisbon on a visit to nearby sites of natural and architectural beauty. You’ll start off with Sintra. First we head and visit one of the Palaces and then a walk through Sintra historical center, where you will continue feeling the royalty atmosphere of this UNESCO World Heritage Site and most probably, dive into the delicious local pastry.
You may visit Pena National Palace, the most beautiful romantic palace in Portugal, or Sintra National Palace or Regaleira Palace. Your guide will tell you about the fascinating history associated with each one of them, so you can choose.
The journey continues with a drive through Colares, passing the vineyards of the renowned white wine in a route of unique natural landscapes. Stop at the end of the world, the great cliffs at Roca Cape, which are the westernmost point of continental Europe.
The last stop of the tour is the stylish town of Cascais, where you can feel the glamour of the sixties of the so called “Portuguese Riviera” – Estoril Coast.
On your drive back to Lisbon, you will pass by the famous Estoril Casino and its gardens and will enjoy a magnificent sightseeing tour along the coastal road, one of the most beautiful and charming itineraries of Lisbon surroundings.
